WeWork Japanは、「WeWork 博多」のオープンを起点に、福岡市や地域企業、WeWork メンバーをはじめとする様々なパートナーとの連携を強化します。福岡市が推進する「RAMEN TECH」や「Fukuoka Art Next」、隣接する明治公園、西日本シティ銀行などと連動したイベントやプログラムを順次展開し、九州の玄関口・博多から、人・企業・地域がつながり、新しい事業やイノベーションが生まれる共創コミュニティの形成を目指します。

「WeWork 博多」は、JR・新幹線・福岡市地下鉄が集結する「博多駅」地下直結の「西日本シティビル」9階・10階に位置し、約980デスクを備える福岡最大級のフレキシブルオフィス*です。

2025年8月にオープンした「WeWork 天神ブリッククロス」と合わせ、福岡を代表する二大再開発エリア「天神ビッグバン」と「博多コネクティッド」の双方にWeWorkが拠点を構えることで、「WeWork ゲイツ福岡」がある中洲・天神・博多の3エリアをつなぎ、福岡市内はもちろん、九州や国内各地、アジアを中心とした海外から集まる企業や働く人々を支援します。

本拠点では、働く人の創造性やウェルビーイングを高めることをテーマに、空間・アート・緑・香りなど、多様な要素を取り入れています。

9階には、博多駅を望む WeWork Japan初の半屋外空間「THE LOGGIA（ロジア）」を設置しました。

高層ビルでは珍しく、大きな窓を開放することでラウンジと外部空間がシームレスにつながり、光・風・緑を感じながら働いたり、リフレッシュしたりすることができます。通常のワークスペースとしてだけではなく、イベントや交流会などにも活用し、人と人との新たな出会いが生まれる場として展開します。

また、「THE LOGGIA」を含めた「THE LOUNGE by WeWork」の空間は、WeWork がプロデュースするビル共用ラウンジとして、WeWork 入居メンバーおよびビルテナントが利用可能です。イベントスペースとして、外部向けに有償での貸し出しも行っています。

「WeWork 博多」が入居する、「西日本シティビル」内外装デザインは、デンマークで設立され、世界6か国を拠点に世界各地でプロジェクトを手がける国際的な建築設計事務所「3XN Architects」が担当。同社が日本で手がける初の建築物として、博多駅前広場や隣接する明治公園など周辺環境とのつながりを意識し、自然光や緑を取り込んだ開放的な都市空間を形成しています。

「WeWork 博多」の内装は、WeWork Japanのデザインチームが手がけ、働く人の創造性や交流を促すWeWorkならではの空間を展開しています。

ラウンジには、株式会社ウェルカムが日本国内で展開するデンマーク発のデザインブランド「HAY」のインテリアを採用。機能性とデザイン性を兼ね備えた家具をWeWorkの空間デザインに取り入れ、働く、交流する、リフレッシュするといった多様な過ごし方に対応する環境を提供します。

また、9階・10階の共用ラウンジには、福岡・九州にゆかりのある作家を含む、飯高健人氏、東菜々美氏、松尾慎二氏、国本泰英氏の4名による作品を展示。地域の文化や創造性をワークプレイスに取り込み、日常の中で新しい発見やインスピレーションが生まれる環境を目指しています。

「THE LOGGIA」を中心とした植栽は、株式会社DAISHIZENが展開するグリーンブランド「SOLSO」とWeWork Japanのデザインチームが共同でプロデュース。

植物を単なる装飾として配置するのではなく、空間との調和や人の過ごし方を考慮したグリーンディレクションにより、自然を身近に感じながら働ける環境を実現しています。

世界各地のWeWorkで使用されているシグネチャーアロマ Air Aromaの「Verdure（ヴェルデュール）」を、WeWork Japanとして初めて導入しました。

爽やかなシトラスと温かみのあるウッド、ラベンダーが調和する香りにより、視覚だけでなく五感を通じて心地よく過ごせるワークプレイスを目指します。

WeWork Japanは、2026年10月7日(水)～11日(日)に福岡市で開催される「RAMEN TECH 2026」の共創パートナー（CO-CREATE PARTNERS）として、10月に複数の取り組みを開催予定です。

RAMEN TECH期間の10月8日(木) に福岡市が主催するRAMEN TECH Global Summit 2026では、本会場となる大名カンファレンスにおいて、スタートアップのマッチングブースを設置。

また、開催期間には、以下のリンクイベントを予定しています。

• 10月7日(水)：「WeWork 博多」において、 デジタルノマドのコワーキング体験や、ヨガやサウンドヒーリングのウェルネス体験後に、同日に開催されるRAMEN TECH 公式 Opening Partyへ向かうプログラム

「WeWork 博多」に隣接する明治公園では、整備・管理運営事業者である東京建物株式会社との連携により、9月11日(金)から10月12日(月) までの期間限定で「THE PARK LOUNGE by WeWork」を展開します。

HAYの家具やWeWorkのブランドエレメントを取り入れた空間を設置し、公園を訪れる人々がくつろぎ、働き、交流できる新しい屋外コミュニティ空間を提供します。

期間中は「WeWork 博多」と連動した様々なイベントを予定しており、特にRAMEN TECH開催期間となる10月5日(月) から12日(月) にかけては、AB InBev Japan合同会社とのコラボレーションによるビアガーデンを展開する予定です。

WeWork メンバーであるルルレモンアスレティカJP合同会社とのコラボレーションにより、ヨガやウェルネスイベントなどを通じて、仕事だけではなく心身を整える体験や新たなコミュニティ形成を支援していきます。その一環として今回、lululemonからは「WeWork 博多」のウェルネス空間「THE STUDIO」にヨガマットとヨガブロックを提供いただきました。

「THE STUDIO」は、通常時には会議やセミナーなどに利用できる一方、レイアウトを変更することでヨガなどのウェルネスアクティビティにも対応する多目的空間です。

WeWork のメンバーであり、「WeWork 博多」が入居する西日本シティビル1階に店舗を構えるブルーボトルコーヒーより、今回のオープニングセレモニーにて、来場者の皆様へコーヒーをご提供いただきました。

当日は、「THE LOGGIA」での交流会においてコーヒーを楽しみながら、登壇者や来場者同士が交流する時間となりました。

WeWork Japanでは、WeWork メンバーや同じ西日本シティビルに拠点を構える企業・店舗とのつながりも大切にしながら、今後もさまざまな形で地域における新たな交流や取り組みの可能性を模索してまいります。

WWJ Inc. The event featured a panel discussion titled, “Expectations and Initiatives for a New Co-Creation Space in Fukuoka,” moderated by Soma Endo, Community Director at WeWork Japan. Beyond daily operations, THE LOGGIA is designed as a premier venue for events and networking, catalyzing new professional connections. Together with the adjacent interior, this area forms “THE LOUNGE by WeWork”—a premium shared amenity accessible to both WeWork members and building tenants, which is also available for external event rentals.

The architectural and exterior design of the Nishi-Nippon City Building, the new home of WeWork Hakata, was spearheaded by 3XN Architects, a globally renowned Danish design studio. Marking the firm’s inaugural architectural project in Japan, the structure is conceived as an open urban ecosystem. It intentionally bridges the built environment with its surroundings, seamlessly integrating natural light and greenery to connect with Hakata Station Square and the adjacent Meiji Park.

Engineered by WeWork Japan’s in-house design team, the interior of WeWork Hakata cultivates a signature environment optimized for creativity and collaboration. The communal lounges are outfitted with pieces from HAY, a premium Danish design brand operated in Japan by WELCOME Co., Ltd. Delivering a seamless blend of high functionality and modern aesthetics, this curation supports diverse workstyles, networking, and relaxation.

Furthermore, the shared lounges on the 9th and 10th floors showcase bespoke pieces by four artists with deep ties to Fukuoka and Kyushu: Kento Iida, Nanami Higashi, Shinji Matsuo, and Yasuhide Kunimoto. The botanical elements, anchored around THE LOGGIA, were co-produced by WeWork Japan’s design team and SOLSO, the premier green brand operated by DAISHIZEN Co., Ltd. Moving beyond superficial decoration, the green direction was meticulously developed to harmonize with the architectural space and the daily rhythms of its users. This deliberate biophilic approach cultivates an immersive environment where members can work in close, restorative connection with nature.

WeWork Hakata marks the first WeWork Japan location to feature “Verdure,” the signature Air Aroma fragrance utilized in WeWork spaces globally. Blending crisp citrus, warm woods, and calming lavender, this bespoke scent is engineered to elevate the workplace experience beyond the visual, cultivating a holistic, multisensory environment.

As an official co-creation partner for “RAMEN TECH 2026” (October 7–11, 2026), WeWork Japan will launch a series of strategic initiatives. At the RAMEN TECH Global Summit 2026 on October 8, WeWork Japan will host a dedicated startup matching booth at the main venue, Daimyo Conference.

To further amplify the summit, WeWork Japan will execute the following satellite activations:

In the adjacent Meiji Park, WeWork Japan is partnering with Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd., the operator responsible for the park’s development and management, to launch “THE PARK LOUNGE by WeWork” for a limited time from September 11 to October 12. Outfitted with HAY furniture and signature WeWork brand elements, the activation provides a fresh outdoor community space for visitors to relax, work, and connect.

A variety of events linked to WeWork Hakata are slated for this period, highlighted by an exclusive beer garden hosted in collaboration with AB InBev Japan G.K. from October 5 to 12 during the RAMEN TECH festival.

In collaboration with WeWork member lululemon athletica JP G.K., WeWork Japan is championing experiences that prioritize both physical and mental well-being. Through curated yoga and wellness events, this partnership aims to accelerate the formation of new, health-conscious professional communities.

As part of this initiative, lululemon has outfitted “THE STUDIO,” WeWork Hakata’s dedicated wellness space, with premium yoga mats and blocks.

Designed for maximum flexibility, THE STUDIO functions as a professional venue for meetings and seminars during standard operations, while its dynamic layout seamlessly transitions to accommodate yoga and other wellness activities.

Blue Bottle Coffee, a WeWork member operating a café on the ground floor of the Nishi-Nippon City Building, provided premium coffee for guests at the opening ceremony. During the networking reception held at THE LOGGIA, attendees enjoyed the beverage experience while engaging with guest speakers and industry peers.
